  • National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER)

    NCVER is a not-for-profit company owned by the federal, state and territory ministers responsible for training. It is responsible for collecting, managing, analysing, evaluating and communicating research and statistics about VET.

  • VOCED plus

    This freely available online database references information about tertiary education and training research, policy and practice in Australia and internationally. It contains over 45,000 entries with more than 11,000 links to full text of documents including journal articles, research reports and conference papers.
  • AVETRA

    Established in 1997, AVETRA is a national, independent association for VET research comprised of stakeholders from the TAFE, university, industry and government sectors (Miller, 2008 ). It has its own constitution and code of practice.
  • CEDEFOP

    European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training CEDEFOP is the European agency that helps policy-makers and practitioners of the European Commission, the Member Sates and social partner organisations across Europe make informed choices about vocational training policy.

  • Australian Education Index (AEI)

    The Australian Education Index provides a complex and sophisticated subscription database consisting of more than 200,000 entries relating to educational research, policy and practice. Relevant to a wide range of people interested in education from schools and universities as well as the researcher. It covers the period 1979 to the present.

    Informit is a leading provider of information management services to the education, government and corporate sectors. Informit exists to preserve, enhance and distribute hard to find content.
  • ALA

    Adult Learning Australia (ALA) - the national peak body representing organisations and individuals in the adult learning field. ALA's activities include advocacy, advice to government, development of learning resources, and research and dissemination.
  • TAFE Directors Australia (TDA)

    TAFE Directors Australia (TDA) is the peak national body incorporated to represent Australia’s 58 government owned Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutes and university TAFE divisions, and the Australia-Pacific Technical College (APTC).
