This form is for the publication of webpages. Basic submissions include a title, body copy and document link. 

The editor window is a WYSIWYG html editor allowing the creation of web page copy without writing code.

The insertion of a document link is achieved using the Document button at the base of the editor window.

Documents in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word and Excel formats can be uploaded and then inserted into webpages - making them available for download.

Have your selected document/s ready in a known location on your device.

1. To upload a document click the +Add Document button.

2. Click the Upload button or drag and drop the document onto the Drop a file here box.

These steps initiate the publication process. The remainder of the process is covered in the help document at the top of the Document Publisher page.



The news blog immediately posts news to the website. The system auto tweets the article and emails members that a news item has been published.

This is an extremely powerful component thus it requires adequate preparation prior to use.

The community events calendar form is specifically for the publication of event notices.

Have these details on hand

  • Title
  • Event Date / Time
  • Frequency (does the event repeat?)
  • Event Description
  • Event Type (public, private or invitation only)
  • Attendee Limit (if known)
  • Location (enter the address in the field under the map image)
  • Event avatar image (logo)
  • Event cover image (relevant image or plain colour)
  • The Event website address

User-generated content, such as text posts or comments, digital photos or videos, and data generated through all online interactions, is the lifeblood of social media.

Users create service-specific profiles for the website or app that are designed and maintained by the social media organization.

Social media facilitate the development of online social networks by connecting a user's profile with those of other individuals or groups.

A discussion forum is hierarchical or tree-like in structure: a forum can contain a number of subforums, each of which may have several topics. Within a forum's topic, each new discussion started is called a thread, and can be replied to by as many people as so wish.

The news area is for broadcasting general interest articles to the whole community.


A blog (a truncation of the expression "weblog") is a discussion or informational website published on the World Wide Web consisting of discrete, often informal diary-style text entries ("posts").

Posts are typically displayed in reverse chronological order, so that the most recent post appears first, at the top of the web page. Until 2009, blogs were usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a small group, and often covered a single subject or topic.

In the 2010s, "multi-author blogs" (MABs) have developed, with posts written by large numbers of authors and sometimes professionally edited.
